"The Syndrome of the Little Mermaid..."
Ah, what a strange name, but so true for some of us.
It’s that feeling that you must sacrifice something of yourself – your voice, your desires, your truth – in order to be loved or accepted.
Like the little mermaid, who gave up her voice to live a love story.
How does it feel?
• You say "yes" when you want to scream "no."
• You leave yourself behind, so as not to upset anyone.
• You feel that if you don't adapt, you'll be left alone.
• And in the end? An emptiness inside. A complaint without words.
How does it affect you?
Every time you suppress your voice, little by little you lose your identity.
And what remains?
A tired creature who doesn’t recognize herself in the mirror.
You know, we weren’t born to beg for love.
The love you deserve doesn’t require any exchange.
What can you do?
Let’s start with the basics: listen to your voice.
The one you say you’ve lost.
It’s still there, but you need to remember it again.
Say "no" when you feel it.
Remember what makes you happy.
And, above all, love who you are – without compromises.
Don’t let any “fairy tale” story steal the reality you deserve.
You are the protagonist of your own life.
